Description
Hackney Pub Crawl is a collection of illustrations of 26 public house pillars of the Hackney Borough community, now printed individually using giclée on archival paper.
This illustration of The Haggerston has been created by Lilia Mannarini of Tour Design and is a limited edition print of only 50, all of which are individually signed, stamped and numbered.
The Haggerston is an indie pub with exposed brick walls and wine-bottle candleholders, hosting DJ nights and Sunday jazz. With deals on drinks between 6pm and 8pm, this lively pub has been described as Kingsland Road’s coolest spit & sawdust boozer & live music venue.
This print has been bespoke hand-drawn including signage. The final drawing then photographed and digitised before adding layered textures and colours in photoshop. The completed illustration has been compiled into a format measuring 29.7cm x 42cm. The final design is an A3 giclée fine art print of professional quality on archival 230gsm matte paper stock.
In view of COVID’s effect on the local community, 10% of Pub Scrawls’ Hackney Pub Crawl sales profits will be donated to Hackney Winter Night Shelter.
Hackney Winter Night Shelter is a Hackney Doorways project. Registered Charity number 1139183. Company number 07064774.
